Miyamoto Says New Zelda Not "Radically Different"

The News: Shigeru Miyamoto teased a new Zelda title this year at E3, but didn't go into details since the development team is still defining the game. One might think that means this one will be a departure from the conventions of classic Zelda games, but Miyamoto gave a very different impression in a recent interview with Nintendo Power (via Aeropause). "I don't think it's going to be that radically different," he said.

Our Take: A new Zelda title alone is usually enough to create buzz, especially among series stalwarts, and the games are always well-made. But, some fans are starting to feel tired of treading on familiar ground, so this won't be welcome news to those who want a new take on Hyrule.
