As you might be able to ascertain from the screens in this story (be sure to click on them and view them in all their full size glory), the game looks damn good. The game may not have been designed with high definition output in mind, but just compare these screenshots with those in our screenshot gallery of the version you can actually play on Wii. If that's not enough, you can check out videos of Zelda: Twilight Princess (here) and Metroid Prime 3 (here) for further reasons to weep at what could have been.
