Hideo Kojima's follow-up to the cyberpunk adventure Snatcher was another futuristic detective story, but with a slightly more mature edge to it. Former Policenaut Jonathan Ingram's quest to figure out the disappearance of his ex-wife's new husband, a powerful drug company exec, takes him all around the space colony of Beyond to seek out the truth. Rumors that Policenauts was planned for American release continued to fly around for years, but one way or another, it never happened. As it stands, Policenauts is the only big-time Kojima game to never make it out of Japan.
