Tobal No. 1 was a decent one-on-one fighting game, but is only remembered as the game that came with the Final Fantasy VII demo. I think the technical term is "sent to die." It's too bad, because Tobal 2 was skipped over for America, yet it made improvements everywhere, from the graphics to the fighting system to the "quest mode," which looked like a proper role-playing game instead of a drab dungeon crawler (still weird in the context of a fighter, though).
